Last month Tescor, a Link Group Company, completed final sign off on a radiator and charge-air cooler test facility for a vehicle research company in Beijing, China. Pre-production on this project began with the customer in 2013 and the installation took place from August of 2017 to Q1 2018. Facility testing was ongoing through Spring of 2018 and final sign off was completed this summer. Tescor’s Bruce Knapp traveled to China for the installation and startup with David Zhang and John Xu, representing Tescor throughout testing and final acceptance. The efforts of the team in Warminster, PA during the build and the continued work of the team on site combined to make the project a major success.

The facility consists of a single room for testing radiators, oil coolers and charge air coolers at capacities up to 944 kW and air flows of up to 40,000 CFM. The addition of altitude testing is phase 2 of the project and is set to begin in the near future.
