Recapping the AHR Expo

Las Vegas, NV, February 2017 – From minute 1 of day 1, the show was a buzz with over 1,800 exhibitors and a reported 70,000 networking hungry attendees. Tescor’s booth was located across from an illuminated sign spelling Vegas above the North Hall’s food court. Tescor’s booth which featured a colorful backdrop display exclusively for the AHR Expo, grabbed the attention of an abundance of attendees. Tescor reps found time to step out of the booth and explore the 2 different show rooms. Both halls were filled with HVAC manufacturers of all sizes and featured of 760 different product categories.

From Italy to Egypt; the Caribbean and Mexico; to the Middle East and California, people were touting their HVAC business. The AHSRAE sponsored Expo is an opportunity for exhibitors to display their latest and greatest products and innovations.

Business looks bright for testing in the HVAC industry, as there is a demand from attendees for test facilities and equipment. The Show Daily paper cited a survey, which reported that energy efficiency was one of the most important issues among attendees. One reason for the survey results could be emphasis from the industry and government in meeting energy efficiency standards, while meeting the cost-effective needs for both producers and consumers.

Overall, Tescor came out of Las Vegas winners, as we renewed and initiated relationships all over the HVAC industry. We are enthused about the possibilities that await us at the 2018 AHR Expo in Chicago and are looking forward to seeing new and familiar faces.
